Pat French
Nationality: American
Affiliation: Spokane Art Center Student
Pat French enrolled at the Spokane Art Center as a high school art student. Robert O. Engard, a former Spokane Art Center instructor, observed that her prints in the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture collection show the influence of the modernist artists from New York who taught at the Center. Engard noted that this influence was less apparent in the works of the older artists who used the center, many of whom were already practicing artists with developed styles before their association with the Art Center.
